Over-population, uncontrolled growth and pollution, attempt at hegemony, a lack of self-determination and rife racism, repression & oppression. I can't help but ponder the general inclination to make a buck over all other considerations. On the positive side, poverty is being alleviated and with today's communication technology, it is increasingly difficult to control the people's yearning for the truth. I also think of the tradition of the arts (martial included), philosophy of the ages and the natural beauty of the country, and its incredible heritage and history.
