Yes. I text to my bf downstairs when I don't feel like going from his 2nd story to the main floor.

I phoned my sister to say night, once. Because I couldn't be bothered going up the stairs. And I've had some great texting conversations with my best friend when we can talk properly because other people are in the room. 'Look at her hair' 'I know' 'Want to go? I'll pretend to feel sick' 'Okay' God, we're cool.

That's funny! My teenage daughter texted me about a month ago from the computer room because apparently, she was locked in there when the door handle fell out. She could've yelled out my name or banged on the door/wall, but nooooo, she texted me. I am pretty sure she didn't really even try to open the door herself by sticking the door handle back into the hole or the scissors on the computer desk would've worked as well. Darn teenagers!!!! I "was" in the middle of watching a movie. ;)

No, there's no need. My apartment is too small.

Not because I didn't want to leave the computer, that is just pure sad. If I shout and whoever I'm calling for can't hear me, then I'll text them.
-
Nah, I'm not really a big fan of texting.
-
Nope. I am not that lazy :)

Yes, My husband works from home and absolutely hates it when I knock on his study door and interrupt so I often e-mail him from the kitchen so he can check his e-mail on his own time and read what I am concerned about.
