Paganisim is a collective of Earth-based religions. This Pagan believes in energies that are depicted by both a Male God and Female Goddess.

I disagree with the definition of pagan as one who has no religious belief, although Webster and American Heritage both define it as such. I think a more appropriate term for such a person is "heathen", but that is a personal opinion. Paganism is more a worship of nature, or as ChandaDiane stated, Earth-based religions. It's not Christian, Muslim or Jewish, so most dictionaries really don't know how to define it. Pagans believe that the earth and nature are sacred and treat it as such.

Paganism is a catch-all term for a large number of religions, of which probably the most well-known is Wicca. Pagans are as religious as anyone else, and more so than most. It takes a fair amount of dedication to have a religion diametrically opposed to the Abrahamic faiths. I am a Heathen, for example. We honour the Norse/Germanic deities and try to emulate the ethics espoused in the Sagas and Eddas. That's far from having no religious beliefs if you have about a dozen gods or more to think about.

I have religious belief,i believe in the Gods and Goddess's earth elements who told you pagans have no religious belief?

"pagan" literally means "villager". Once Christianity became the fashion in Rome, people used it as a demeaning term for the non-Christians who lived outside of the city. These days the neo-pagans are people who follow in the footsteps of those peace-loving, nature-worshiping tribes and villages, before the Christians killed them all.

A pagan is NOT one who has no religious beliefs - that is an atheist. A Pagan is one who believes in the creative power of the Earth, and worships that power in the guise of a number of Earth and Fertility related deities. A Pagan has no central revelation, no Prophet or Messiah, but Paganism is most definitely a faith, a religious belief: something based on an internal conviction, not concrete facts.
