A red light I will stop. At a stop sign I usually just slow down.

If I were driving, I'd stop out of habit. If Jim were driving he'd sail right through, listing the reasons for doing so as he ran the red light! :)

OMG! This is just what hapened to me, i had visited a friend in an area i wasnt familiar with, i stopped at the 'red light, and sat there for what seemed like 20 minutes, there was no traffic around, and about 03.00am, i finally took the plunge and drove through it, feeling really stupid, because, it was the wrong way and i had to turn around hehe, but i didnt wait at the light!

I'm a creature of habit. I always stop, no matter what. Too many times you THINK no one is around but it's not worth being wrong and causing a tragedy. Better to be safe than sorry.

This right here is exactly how innocent, healthy people get killed. I feel very strongly about traffic laws and would never risk my life or the lives of others because of reckless, stupid behavior.

I was 15 1/2 years old (just got my driving permit)and ran a stop sign in a small town (if you blinked you missed it kind of town)....it was dark, no cars around, and truthfully I didn't even see the stop sign until it was too late. The cop hiding in the dark sure saw it!!!! So, from past experience, I learned the importance of stopping even when you think no one is looking.

I stop and wait at the red lights, but I won't wait forever. Stop signs: depends on what I know about the area already. If I know the street well enough to know that I can safely go through the sign, and it's oh-dark-thirty, then I'll roll through it, but slow down for it.

I will come to a stop because if the light had been green I would have expected someone else to have stopped for their red light and would have been a bit fast to go through. A few minutes of your life wasted are OK an entire life wasted is not.

Stop. I'm more paranoid than I usually am when I'm on the road alone. I just KNOW there's a cop lurking somewhere.

I would still stop..because you never know where the "blue & whites" are hidin' out at!!!(LOL)..and it'll be just my luck if I was to run a damn stop sign/light!!(LOL)
