Are you talking about registry entries, or windows directory files? If they are registry entries, you need to run a registry cleaner, such as Norton Windoctor. If you are talking about windows directory files. There is a program here that will delete anything at any time. Careful. I downloaded the free home edition of Avast. I found out last night there was a WIN32 virus attached to it. Slowly, over several months, the virus destroyed the file system on the computer. My first hint that something was wrong is that I started getting popups that I did not get when I had another antivirus software. The second hint is that the computer ran very slow almost from the beginning. We had to totally wipe the hard drive and reinstall everything.
