Don't give up. I am 31 have worked as a bartender for 9 years. I work all Holidays including mothers day, haven't had a weekend to spend with my family in a long time. i never know if I will make enough for the house payment. I have people treat me like shit sometimes, and I just have to smile. Although I know it will be hard to raise and family, work, and go back to school, I know in the end it will be the best decision I made. So hang in there, I had to learn the hard way that education is one of the best things you can do for yourself. I see alot of women in there 40-50 kicking themselves in the ass for not finishing school. And trust me if you saw how miserable they were you definately would not want to give up!!!:):) Your in my thoughts..stick with it, tjoebaxter:)

If you want to give up, go right ahead. I always feel the need to drop out of school. Consider options of what you want to do if you want to get out of school. A suggestion: Go to Job Corps and get some job training skills there. Work at a part-time job. It does not always have to be fast food. Sales and retail are also another option. There is also another option of online college. Or you can start your own business and work from there. There are a lot of people who work at home.
