When writing a letter to appeal financial aid eligibility, what should it be incuded?

You basically want to discuss why you can't get along on what they're offering you. If your parents aren't providing for you at all, discuss that. If an issue beyond your control (health, accident, etc) has made a huge dent in how much you can afford, discuss that. If something I haven't mentioned prevents you from being able to live on what they're offering, discuss that. They may just offer you more federal loans, but that's better than private ones or nothing.
