Why won't my avatar appear animated? It was animated on the site I downloaded it from.

It is possible that it is resized to display on AB, and this resizing is interfering with the animation. Try resizing the entire image and uploading it to AB. Edit: Redownload it from the original site. Open it on your computer using Internet Explorer. (Right click on the file and choose "Open with", then choose "Internet Explorer") Is it animated then? Edit 2: If you give me the link to the original, I'll resize it for you.

Using a copy of the animated gif you want, go to http://www.gifworks.com/ . On that page is a online tool that will resize the image for you. Make sure that you keep the aspect ratio and that the largest pixel size is no more than 60. Save the result that the online tool gives you as something like " resized AB avatar" so you you which one it is and upload it to your profile. It really very easy and you shouldn't have any issues.
