UNLESS you physically go into the police department and court in the jurisdiction where the ticket was issued, the judge might issue a warrant to have you arrested. DON'T RUN! MAYBE you could "work it off" doing community service. The ONLY way you'll find out is to ask. THE WORST answer you'll get is "No". Other than in love and romance, "No" never hurt any one. Talk to the clerk, you may be able to get another extension. If not, go to court and plead guilty, but tell the judge you cannot afford to pay. He will likely reduce the fine, and setup a payment plan for the new balance.
