You're reading Where did the expression "you're full of beans" come from?
Comments
Full of Beans
This expression derived from ancient Greece, where the Greeks ate many beans and thus had a lot of energy and were very lively. When I say this I do not mean only the Greeks, I mean all of civilisation and especially horses who fed mainly only on beans, ( thats not baked beans! sorry for the poor joke :P) anyway! better be off now. I hope this has been of some assistance!
keep it real.
keep the faith.
