  • Yes I had to give it up and now just read the news on line.
  • I usually have to do something else while I'm barely paying attention to it. I can't imagine myself sitting there with full concentration on it. I would become catatonic or something.
  • I wonder why they chose the stories they did to highlight, but I don't get angry or pissed off...it's not worth it, since I have no control over the process...

  • I watch the news a lot though there are definitely times I HAVE to turn it off because I get pissed off at it. Sometimes it's because of a guest (I watch MSNBC), but mostly, it's because the people involved in the story are freakin' idiots and that pisses me off. If something bothers me THAT much, I'll blog about it and that helps me release the tension. On the other side of the coin; my husband pretty much refuses to watch the news because it's all bad sh*t. I'll call him into my office, aggro about something I saw, and he says, "Why are you telling me this? That's horrible. THAT'S why I don't watch the news!"

Even worse is newspapers splashing miracle this,miracle that,all over their pages to headline articles about someones lucky escape from death."miracle survival from death plunge",.,puke,puke yuk !
