I find it quite sad that you have to stop and think about who you are going to offend before you can tell a joke....voice an opinion etc. I firmly believe that there are people out there who walk around looking for things to be offended by and the really sad fact is that it is probably going to get worse!

Being PC is annoying. I do not tell jokes of any kind because I hate the opposite sex. For years we have used jocks(Us) and the Irish in jokes yet neither nation complained.

Many people seem to have a well developed sense of humor and they think everything they say is funny. I, on the other hand, have a very poorly developed sense of humor, and I simply don't "get" a lot of things that others laugh at. Since so many jokes these days seem designed to insult someone, it must be hard to find some kind of middle ground. I believe professional comedians are much better at it than amateurs, so that's probably where PC comes in. I often see a lot of complaints even in the professional realm. I suppose the best thing to do is just go ahead and say whatever you want and let the chips fall.
