Why do women dress in makeup, short skirts, bare midriffs, and low-cut blouses but complain about men that stare at them?

In my opinion it's a double-standard. "I want to dress sexy and show off what I know men like, but I only want them to look when I feel they should." Even as a woman, I see that as unfair. If you're going to dress provocatively, be prepared to deal with the results of it.

I don't think that there is nearly as much of a problem so long as it's a hot guy who is the one staring at them.

1) They complain about it because they find it annoying. They just want to be looked at normally, not to be stared at. Except, of course, if they are starting a flirt with the person and enjoy it themselves. 2) If you are trying to get attention, it just happens that you don't always just get the kind of attention that you wish. But even if it has to happen, why not complain about it? If you don't complain about it, nobody will understand that you don't appreciate it.

Good question, I think that they have no right to complain if they wear provocative outfits. Same applies for miniskirts, when you stare at their legs

I'll be honest, when I wear a low cut top I don't complain if a man was to look, for one I know what can be seen when I chose to wear that top and two it's a compliment that I've still possibly got something going for me!!!! Ha Ha!! ;0D

I really don't know, but it's a great question. They put it out there but don't want it to be looked at. If I had big boobs I'd love to have them looked at.

The complaint is really an acknowledgement that you're looking. If she's bold enough to ask why you are looking, she wants a bold answer. *Because them tatas are just so bodacious*

Women don't wear clothing like that for men to see, but to make other women jealous. Any woman who is honest about being female, and who is comfortable with her own femininity, enjoys male attention. Hey. I'm a woman and i ask the very same question. I laugh when i see girls wearing very short skirts but spend a lot of time trying to pull them down. Doesn't make sense to me.

Great question. I'm a very nice 38D. If I don't want you to look, I'll cover them up. If I want you to look, I'll show a little cleavage. If women want to show their boobs and then get mad at mean for looking, their either naive or dumb. If a sexy man takes off his shirt do you think I'm going to look? Heck yea! Would I look at him the same if he were wearing a sweatshirt?...probably not.

Some women do that because they feel they have a right to wear whatever they wish to wear, without it being presumed they have dressed that way for the sole purpose of seeking attention and offering themself as an item on display for mens visual pleasure.

I'm wondering if that is really happening? Most of the women I know who dress like that love to be looked at. I can't imagine why they wouldn't. When I was in that age group, I loved dressing like that and being looked at. Has it changed that much?
