  • Viewing love as a game can lead to viewing people as pawns to be played with. I don't recommend it. As I've said many times, the very best thing you can do for romance is to make yourself into the very best "you" you can be. Then those who are attracted to that "you" will seek you out and seek to become friends. Relationships formed in this way usually last longer than those formed any other way.
  • Alex P. Keaton said it well in answer number 3. What most people tend to not understand is that the dating world, and in effect love, is all about being able to play the game. Playing the game succesfully doesn't mean treating everyone like emotionless pawns, but what the saying is about is more of a laid-back attitude, that a majority of men lack. So yes, not only can you view it as a game, you're actually taking a step towards being more succesful with playing the game by considering it as one. And if you keep on playing, you'll get experiences to learn from, and if you learn from those experiences, the chances of you winning constantly rise. Remember, you only have to win the jackpot once!
