On The Sims 2, is there a "lifetime want" or is that only on the University Expansion pack?

    I'm not sure because it's been so long since I've played without expansions, but I'm pretty sure it isn't on the original sims.

    Well, I'm not sure about the original SIMs 2 (no EPs). The one I got was an anniversary edition 3-pack. But I played Nightlife without any Expansion pack, and every one of my Sims had lifetime wants. I think that's the general point of playing your Sims. Make them achieve permanent platinum status, before they die.
