  • I have soooo been there. When I feel like that I usually make myself a strong pot of coffee, and eat something with lean protein and complex carbs (like a turkey sandwich on wheat bread), and have both together at the same time. (sometimes while surfing AB ;) When I don't want caffeine, the best way [for me] to wake up is to go for a brisk walk, but I don't know if that would work if I was REALLY sleep deprived.   • I would excercise. A nice workout wakes me right up. If you are still tired, take a shower. It wakes you up, and leaves you feeling refreshed! You could even swash around some strong mouthwash. It often helps too. Good luck!

  • The guy who said exercise is on the money; that will help get the blood flowing and the heart rate up enough to keep you awake a little while. Eating some food and doing something stimulating should help also.
  • for me watching tv or go on the computer, sitting up or standing up so you dont fall asleep, the brightness always wakes me up
