NO no!!! Never watch them in episode order. It's all wrong. You should watch them in the order they were made.

Start at 1. Then you get the crap ones out of the way, and that makes the greatness of the last three even better.

I'm assuming you already know the whole story. If so, it wouldn't hurt to watch from 1 straight to 6, as there are no real surprises and you will be able to see the progression from start to finish. If you don't know the whole story, then it would probably be best to start at 4 as it is the way it was originally introduced to us. In this case you'd also probably get more enjoyment from it. Just my opinion though.

Number one I still think it was the best out of the bunch

start with number 4, then 1,2,3,5,6:):):)

I would say start from 1, just to get the story in order.

The screenplays were written in chronological oreder. The reason the weren't released that way is because George Lucas thought the first three wouldn't catch on so he released 4,5, and 6 first. He also wrote screen plays for 7,8, and 9, but after finally making 1,2,and 3 into movies he left it up to his daughter to make 7,8, and 9 into movies. You should watch them in the order they were meant to be seen in. Start with 1 and finish with 6. Then read the screen plays for 7,8, and 9. They're nuts.
