  • No. No no no no no. No.
  • Since the Bible has been correct on the fall of empires such as the Assyrians, Babylonians, Greeks and Romans, and event the fall of Jerusalem, this is pretty good evidence that it will be correct about the fall of all governments which do not submit themselves to God.
  • Um, we shouldn't? There's like, really obvious patterns when it comes to empires and civilizations throughout history. Methinks that's a better basis for truth. Plus, won't doomsday come, like the bible says, before the world can fulfill any political prophecy that the bible has? I suppose, though, if you look at it in terms of why the bible was really written (so the authorities could control the masses easier), then yeah, you should consider the bible's prophecy. But not in any higher power, be-all, end-all bullshit way.
