  • easy...he wasn't perfect.
  • being perfect does not mean exempt from the capacity to sin. just like satan and his demons who at one time were perfect and decided to rebel. having the gift of free will, adam had the choice of deciding to do good or bad. unfortunately for him and the rest of us he decided to go against the rules set before him.
  • "The clay in the potters hand was marred" Jer 18v4 God made Adam (and us)with a deliberate flaw. We would be attracted to sin. Why? So that we would grow character and need salvation.
  • He was just trying to impress Eve!
  • you're assuming, i assume, that god can't sin deep within his love. if we're made in his image, perhaps god isn't perfect either. maybe we're all on the same journey, he's just a lot further along maybe...
  • He was made perfect, that didn't mean that all of his deeds would be.
  • sin entered the world when eve ate the apple, so thats why he sinned (or how he could in the context of this question)
  • While Adam & Eve were perfect, they were not puppets, they were given the freedom to choose right from wrong ,sadly for them and us they chose the wrong course . But God sent his son Jesus to buy back what they lost and to bring about his original purpose to have us live forever on paradise earth free from sickness and death. (Psalm 37:9-11) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. 10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. (Revelation 21:3-4) With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
  • Adam was created perfect, with the ability to choose. If he did not have that ability, he would have been nothing more than a programmed robot. It must be kept in mind that it was Satan who challenged Almighty God that God's creations would put their own wellbeing in front of true worship. This happend with Adam. And it cost him everlasting life... Genesis 2; 16,17. From then on, Adam was classed as imperfect and he and all who descended from him grew old and died... Exactly what he was warned about.
  • God also gave man free will.
