  • There really isn't anything better for a marriage than for the partners to remain completely open and honest with each other. By doing so they can nip problems in the bud. When mistakes are made it allows for a more rapid rebuilding of trust and understanding because the partners are already accustomed to open communication and know how the system works -- so they can get to the point, talk about it, and together they can decide how to move forward. Withholding information or hiding the truth is the alternative and is a good way to steadily destroy the relationship.
