  • ^^^^^ Also, on the bottom piericing, if I left the ring up there is a pinkish purple area but it's not a bump and it doesn't hurt or anything. Could it be that my belly is infected? Or is the ring just too heavy.
  • Pus is a sign of infection. You need to put some anitbaterial medication on it until it is healed. It should have been healed completely in half that amount of time.
  • If it's the clear crust that it's produced since piercing, it's not pus. It's lymph fluid, and it's normal. It also means it's not healed yet, so stop changing the jewelry! Don't move it around, you're irritating the still healing fistula. Navels take a long time to heal, it's not uncommon for them to still be crusting and sore at 6 months. Do sea salt soaks and leave it alone for a few more months.
