  • I'm not a professional but here are some things that are obvious but maybe helpful. Breathing is a big issue. It's bigger than the b flat clarinet, therefore takes more air! So you have to breath in a lot more, and don't raise your shoulders, breath in with your diaphragm. Tilt the instrument a little bit so that the mouthpiece is in the direction similar to a b flat clarinet. Whoa. I just saw how old this question is...
