depends on your playstyle honestly. everybody has a preference and a reason why, to them, it's "the best". take a look at each race's bonus, read up online what each profession are, maybe you want a race that gives you a starter bonus to the profession, maybe you want a specific class, and that limits your race choices. my suggestion, try a few to level 10/12 - that gives you a good idea of the basics of the class
