I think so... dialing or talking on the cell phone is so dangerous! I have a sister who got hit by a car. The woman was on her cell phone. My sister could have died by the way her car looked. God was watching her that day. All in all.. I think Cell phones should not be used when driving.

5 states including California have cell phone restrictions, New Hampshire considers it part of "distracted" driving in general so they don't have a specific law. I think the majority of states have some kind of regulation, mostly focused at young drivers. Every state should have a hands free law/no texting.

They already are in NY...that reminds me I have a ticket to pay.

New York has already passed that law. Being there and seeing it in action, I think it is a true blessing to safe, defensive driving. The roads are way too busy in these big cities for that type of distraction. I think the law is very safety-first.

Absolutely! I bet 75% of the automobile conversations could wait until they were in their office or at home. Cell phones are great for emergencies - only!

I saw the best bumper sticker "Just hang up and drive" so the answere is yes.

A law already exists that covers cellphone useage as well as other "driver unattendiness". its called...... Careless Driving. Most states have this law in place.

We've already had this law for about 2 years in CT.
