If you could, wouldn't there always be the fear of causing a paradox. Theory: I jump into H.G.Wells' time machine and I go back to meet with My great grandfather. Something happens whilst we are together that causes me to kill him. Here's the problem - if my dad wasn't born I cannot exist - If I cannot exist, If I don't exist - Who the f__k killed my ancestor?? According to Einstein, Energy = Mass * C(squared) Where c = Light speed at 299,792,458 metres/second The theory constricts velocity because the faster you go the more mass you need, and the more mass you have the more energy you need. According to this theory, we may be able to get to 99% of light speed but to travel back in time we can't do. NOT ON THE PHYSICAL PLANE ANYWAY....... On AB you can. It is actually possible to use the tabs to go back in time to a question you asked several minutes ago and change it. You can also use the "way back machine" to look at the original AB.

No, but you can see into the past. Just get a faster than light spaceship, fly really far away from Earth then look back at it with a really powerful telescope and you'll see the images from years past....probably.
