    Only if you're munching on chips or other salty foods. They make you retain water, and that includes puffiness underneath your eyes.

    Not unless you stare long enough to loose sleep. Bags under the eyes are caused by water retention, heredity, not enough sleep, fat deposits, irritants that cause swelling, et cetera. There are many other causes, but these are the most common. Hope this helps.
