  • i would think that hilary clinton would win cause having a first woman president would be awesome
  • It's not the most likely match-up, but I think Colin Powell would win. First, there is his military background. Second, there is his independence from and criticism of the current administration. Since most voters agree that the war on terror is necessary, just that it's been incorrectly handled, Powell would probably be the more attractive candidate to them. While conservative Republicans are not particularly fond of Powell, due to his centric stances on many issues (e.g., abortion), I think Clinton has far greater image issues with liberal Democrats. It's independent voters who decide elections and I think Powell's credentials would attract a greater share of their votes.
  • America is not ready for a woman President. We are not British.
  • Powell has the experience of serving in two different administrations, while Hillary will rely on the charisma and popularity of her husband but in the end the people will vote for a candidate who can address the Iraq issue and Immigartion reform.Advantage:Powell.Although I don't see him running in 2008,maybe a return in someone's administration.
  • Fred Thompson.
  • I disagree with everyone who said Colin Powell and it not because I think Powell would not make an awesome President because I do believe he would be great but given the fact that in 2007 Racism is still a stronger and more prevelant thing than anti feminism I believe that more Americans would rather see a woman in the white house before an African American that is why I think Hilary would stand a better chance against any of the current Republican contenders than Barak Obama if he were to be nominated

  • It time we had a woman President. So Hillary will win.
  • I prefer Colin Powell. I hope that he would win over Hillary. I can't stand any of the Clinton's.
