If you tell a lie so that you don't get in trouble with something or to hurt somebodys feelings it's a regular lie. If you tell a lie to make it that his/her feelings are not hurt than it is a white lie.

When I was a kid the fine line was: 1/2 pack of cigarettes 3 missing beers a dirty magazine. Now, as an adult the full blown lying starts at: a sack of weed a case of beer a suitcase full of dirty magazines

I think a little lie would be something that doesn't really harm anyone and a regular lie is something that either does or has the potential of harming someone. Little Lie- No I havn't seen that movie, sure I'll go with you. Regular Lie- It's your baby.

A little white lie doesn't get out of hand. Sometimes it stops somebody from getting their feeling hurt. A big lie is when you have to tell one lie after another to cover up for the last lie and it can get way out of hand.
