Well, you will only be convicted if you break the law of the country that you have landed, however while you are travelling in space and international water you will be subjected to the rules and regulations of the ship that carries you.

In international waters, you are actually subject to the federal laws of the country under which your boat is flagged. The Coast Guard can board any US flagged boat anywhere in the world.

the laws about this will correspond with the laws in the country of origin: If you started in the USA and flew to space, North Pole, moon, etc. and had cocoaine, since it is illegal here, yes, it would be illegal. If you were born in space and have never left space and someone brought you some cocaine to space and they were from the USA where it is illegal, then the person bringing it would be breaking the law, not yu. Air space is "owned" by the country it is over. I hope this makes sense the way I posted it.
