They are all really necessary so I couldn't begin to think about a best.

All military branches do their parts. We are all working together for the same causes. Don't think of a branch, think as a team.

team work's job #1. personally, navy seems to facilitate broader transfers and greater advancement. i've had friends and employees from each branch and, frankly, i'd hire a vet long before a non-vet. they just are able to work together with others, accomplish tasks, and show commitment.

The Coast Guard. Doing a job both at home and abroad when needed. Hard to get in. And I think that they have real heart not to say the other branches dont..

Don't you mean which? I have no preference because I have relative in every single branch except the Coast Guard, I love big boats So the Coasties are cool to me.

It depends what you are looking for. Some people want to just gain benefits to better their career. Some want to give their life to a greater cause. But I would have to say the Navy.
