HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!!! Without his girlfriend? Oh well Lisa. Its your life and I'm not one to lecture anybody.

In order to experience happiness on a consistent basis, it is best to ignore the opinions of those who are quite often miserable...

You're an adult, you know ther guy better than they do. I don't think it's weird. my son and his ex have stayed in the same house together, they have a 12 year old..No body cares but his girlfriend. Ya gotta do what feels right for you!!
-
I would not think it's weird at all, and he has a GF. Thats wonderful, good for him but if your at a place to even let him stay and get along in that capacity then Horray! Have a meal together with your daughter and enjoy the time together, in our house we have this happen all the time- Good for You!!! ++++++++++++
-
I dont think its weird 12 years is a long time i'm sure theres no more romantic feelings and if his girlfriend is cool with it and besides you two have a 16 year old together
-
You are nice and are not making him stay in a hotel. You are allowing him to spend quality time with his daughter, nothing wrong with that.
-
Sleep with him for old time's sake. I bet you'll enjoy it.

Lisa-baby!! Hi, darlin'!! I think it is up to the two individuals in the center of the fray. If you are an honest woman then there will be no hanky panky no matter what feelings still exist. He may be not-so-honest, but he isn't here for me to talk to :)
-
I was going to say there is nothing wrong with that as long as the girfriend was ok with it but i see you just admitted in one of your comments that you both have feelings for each other. So, maybe not such a great idea.

It's great that you have a decent relationship. My ex and my present hubby are practically friends. We have dinner with them often and it's so much better than the bitterness that is usually seen after divorce. Look, at one time we loved each other. Why should we be hateful or unfriendly now? That goes for most divorces. It's sad that everyone can;t be like us. Think how much better it would be for the children.
-
I think that is perfectly fine. One of my best friends is divorced and he regularly stays at his ex-wife's when he goes up north to visit his family and friends. They were friend before they got married and they are still friends. I think the people who think it's weird can't see themselves in that situation without there being ulterior motives..which is really sad! :)
