  • Most NFL teams prefer to go with a veteran to lead the offense. Favre is a proven winner and the Packers and their fans love him. To be fair to Rogers, the coach should make Favre earn his starting status in pre-season training and games.
  • It may be unfair but Brett is Brett and Rogers is??????...get my point?
  • I heard that it was just a rumor, but yes, that is kind of rude to get this Aaron Rogers's hopes up just to smash them down.
  • He says it's a rumor, but that's what all of them say. Who knows? More importantly, who cares? The guy is 500 years old and needs to know when to say when. Take your millions and enjoy life while you can still walk. Who cares what Aaron Rogers thinks of the situation especially when you take his comments about the Green Bay fans, how did he put it...oh yeah "they need to get on board now or keep their mouths shut.” Those words may come back to bite him in the ... Being a Lions fan I really don't care, but they'll still beat the Lions no matter if it's Favre or Rogers.
  • look... im a die hard packers fan and Brett Favre is a phenom! if he could have another season to play and rodgers had to sit out... i think it'd be a honor for rodgers and the other 2 QB's they drafted this year. Besides, I dont think Rodgers has what it takes. He's got BIG shoes to fill, too big of a chip on his shoulder to handle it. It'd be smart if the packers started a rookie and let Rodgers be the savior when the rookie flops.
  • No. Brett Favre gives the Packers a better chance to WIN. If he wants to play, let him play.
  • Brett Favre is the heart and soul of the Packers offense. He has made big time comebacks in the 4th quarter many times. So he had one bad game last season and it costs them the championship. Let him play! He at least deserves to go out like Elway. I say let him start! Maybe they could work it out where Favre plays the 1st and 4th quarters and Rodgers plays the 2nd and 3rd.
