Not the avatars but the actual other AB members, if it were the avatar then Zack would have multiple personality disorder. I change mine occasionally also, so I would have that problem too. :)

It's the members that have the avatars that make AB. I believe that a friendship on AB can be as valid as one in real life, it's just much less common/likely.

I would think so, because friendship it based on feelings, and how the person treats you, it doesn't always have to have face to face interaction for a friendship :)

what about the annual cruise? would not that be a good experience to meet the members behind the avatars? One has to reach sage to get invited.
