  • Wow. I had the same dilemma..... You cannot have him as you need him to be, but also cannot imagine your life without him in it. I would have a little talk with myself and see if the good outweighs the bad. To love, by definition is to accept someone as they truly are, flaws and all. If you feel that you cannot completely accept these flaws then in my opinion, you will not be happy in the end. If you arent happy then its not worth it. If you can accept these flaws and truly love this person anyway in spite of their shortcomings then there you go! :)
  • There's a big difference between not being able to imagine someone in your life and not having them in your life. Believe me, I've been there. You need to take care of yourself and your own needs first and foremost. If you're with someone who is not what you want, you'll never be truly happy with them. You'll always be waiting for them to change, and you will jeopardize your own happiness because of the comfort of having them in your life. Honestly, I believe you need to follow your gut. If your instincts say you'd be better off without him, then commit to that and take that leap. It will hurt, but you're a strong enough person to adjust and adapt to a new chapter of your life. You will most likely be a lot happier in the long run, believe me.
  • awww I love you. I have to say the right thing is to cut him off, but God knows I know how difficult that is. You have my full support either way.
  • I say walk away and hope that in the end you can be friends....(((hugs))))
