yes, before i forgot to buy shampoo so i used bar soap. (I have long hair)even after using conditioner i couldn't comb my hair, it was so tangled.it was horrible; i'll never do that again!

When i was in boot camp we had to, shampoo wasn't allowed. But then we ironed our clothes with a plastic soap dish also. It was liked i died and woke up in a looney bin !

You should never wash your hair with regular soap because it stripps your hair of its protective coat and makes it dry and brittle. Now that being said, there are shampoo bars that are sold in specialty shops all over the world that can and should be used on your hair. But they are specifically designed for use on your head...

Yes one time on a camping trip. I will never do that again, my hair felt like straw the rest of the trip. YIKES!

After hockey games sometimes I do, just because I don't have any shampoo left. It leaves you hair dry.
