  • If you miss one pill, take the pill as soon as you remember it, as well as the next scheduled pill. If you miss 2 pills, take both of them as soon as you remember, and the next scheduled pill. If you miss 3 pills, you MUST stop, wait for a period, then re-start a NEW pack of pills on the 1st Sunday closest to the day your period started. You ARE NOT PROTECTED AGAINST PREGNANCY until you have taken ALL your scheduled pills for one month. In any case, right now you have what is called a "pill period",caused by screwing up your hormone balance, and you could even be pregnant. You should have a pregnancy test if you have had sexual activity before you had one month of pills in a row, or if you had unprotected sex during the time you missed taking those 3 pills.
  • Is the "Pill Period" considered as the latest period where I can my base my calculation with?
  • this has happened to me before. The pill puts your body on a regular system, when you forget to take the pill, especially so close after your period, you can spot "old blood" you can use a tampon for like 4 hours or so and should be able to "take care" of the problem. If you don't think its old blood I'd call the doc...just to be sure
