I still have a pack of 8inch diagnostic floppies from a PDP-11. I really don't know why I don't just toss them.

Yep, a few of them as a matter of fact....but I never use them! I guess I just think they might come in handy??

I have about 20 of them and I used them to save diary entries that I wrote in Microsoft Word. I still use them today.

Oh, you reminded me that my basement is cluttered. I have to get rid of lots of stuff, including them floppies.

Yup. I've got 5.25" and 3.5" plus their respective drives, tapes drives, removal hard drives, EDO ram, ISA ram modules, eh, call me a hoarder.

I don't get it. How can all these people be on the internet without Floppy disks? How do you load your browsers? It takes me about an hour and a half to get to this page and I just hope that we don't have another brownout... I am lucky to get to answer a question...But there are supposed to be big things coming...I have even heard a crazy rumor about multi-colored monitors. What will they think of next? I may actually come out of my Mom's basement when they get to that.... No.. maybe not, it is safer in here.
