  • Could be something that happened when it was a kitten, maybe before you got it? Other than that cats are typically very cautious animals. Always on the lookout for any perceived or possible danger. It's a key to their survival.
  • Cats are much better at reading our body language than we are at reading theirs.
  • Your cat is a genious! Is his name Alfred? Really though my cat can be all the way across the room sleeping on the couch and I'll turn the lights off take two steps and WHAM! I punt the cat. I think he likes pain because he's pretty wild and he does alot of stuff that looks like it hurts. He does the same thing when the lights are on but it doesn't seem as deliberate.
