No. After 5 years of marriage (shacked up for 2 years prior to that), I'm ENJOYING being alone. It is so cool!!!! Guess the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence...

I try to enjoy whatever I have. If I am alone I can do what I want, can take extra time for myself. If I am with someone then I try to enjoy this time. Then it makes transitions easier, not to feel sad with either situation.

No, not at all. I am almost never alone. I am usually surrounded by friends or family. I treasure solitude when I can find it and do not squander those moments. That is when I recharge. I will point out that there is a very big difference between solitude and "being alone". I know the difference. Some day, I suppose that my circumstances will change and I will be alone too. To fight being alone, be proactive and volunteer with a worthy organization. Make a difference. Meet people. Make new friends. It is good that we "Continue to put on the new personality" and take those sharp edges off that each of us have to ourselves. That way we become more friendly, more lovable and more approachable.

i'm alone even when i'm with people. even being out all the time doesn't satisfy you conecting with someone. i've never been without a girlfriend or 3 at any time but i feel so dang alone. so thats a yes, i think...

There are times when I don't want to be alone, but hey everyone keeps saying that if you don't go looking the right person will appear, I'm still waiting, nothing seems to be happening. I miss the kissing and hugs from someone that loves you.
