If your best friend was acting like an idiot and needed to be told before she did something she really regretted, would you tell her even if there was a huge chance it would ruin your friendship?

I would tell my friend, my friends all know I am blunt, and in the long run I am looking out for them, and personally I would rather a friend tell me I was acting like an idiot then someone else.

Oh, yes. Definitely. If she cannot see that I am concerned for her, then that will be an entirely different issue. My job is to BE a friend as well as appreciate them.

yes but I would say that to start with as your friendship is important to you, you'd thought about whether to say anything to her or not but even though it could jeopordise your relationship, you wouldn't be a good friend if you couldn't be truthful with her sometimes and if she values your friendship, she should also value the fact that you've been honest with her.
