My dog has been diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. To make sure she is doesn't die, I have to cook for her. Everything she gets to eat is prepared at home, and she needs to eat 3 times a day. Would you cook fresh food for your dog daily?

No I would not cook for them. But I would and have fed a totally raw diet called B.A.R.F. (Bones And Raw Food) I would feed my dog foods it has not become allergic to. Dogs cannot digest grains properly and with so many years of eating commercial dog food they get horrible allergies and problems. But most of these problems are gone with an all natural diet. So I've fed BARF to our dogs. I can sometimes get the bones and meat locally or there are some great suppliers out there that sell emu, duck, rabbit and other meats for dogs.

I'd definately like to think I would in the same situation. I can't know for fact - but I'd be fairly confident if the roles were reversed my dog would cook for me :) All the best with your canine companion. Lucky dog to have a caring & conscientious carer. I do hope it goes well for you & it's a reasonably manageable situation.

Yes i would if it was the only way to keep him alive. I would do anything in my power to make sure he was healthy and happy.

I haven't had to do this in my lifetime but I have done stuff for my dogs and cats that most people think I was crazy for doing. Who cares. When you love them you love them and that's all there is to it. If people don't like it that's their problem.
