I've been on the Birth Control Pill (TRiphasil ) for about 17 months, will i get pregnant within the first two months if i stop taking it?

It is posible to get pregnant even while on the pill. It is possible to get pregnant the first month of the pill. A triphasal will stay in your system a little longer, but the percentage of it's efficacy (how good it works) is continually lowsering each day. If you are TRYING to conceive, Doctors recommend you be off the pill a year before you try. But that doesn't mean you won't get pregnant. It means that, for the sake of your child, it is best to let your body rest, cleanse and get the hormones out of your system before conceiving. So, yes you can get pregnant within two months coming off the Pill, even a Triphsal. No, it is not AS likely during that time. And no, you shouldn't be trying to conceive that soon, especially after a Triphsal as you should have a couple of good menstrual cycles to flsuh out all old tissue first.
