  • Some of both. I'm trying to kick the habit, so no more questions please! :-)
  • I just drift in and out of doing other things throughout the day, in between spending time on Answerbag. I look every so often and then get caught up in the pleasure of it. then reality intrudes once more and I am left waiting for the next opportunity to while away my day.
  • As Stableboy says - a bit of both. If I need to get a break from a problem during the day, I'll drop in to AB and look at a few questions. If I haven't done so for the whole day, or even more for two days, I'll try and do a "catch-up" so that I have at least glanced at all the questions that have been added recently. So it dependa on what is happening in the rest of my world.
  • I just pop in 1-2 times a day or every other day, and I'll do a search on art, drawing, portraits and then browse to see if there is anything that catches my attention and I might be able to help.
  • I pop in and out during the day while I'm at work, usually in response to one of those email alerts from Joel. (You know the ones..."Someone has rated your totally useful answer as spam." or "Someone has left a comment about your answer about wine, calling into question your parentage and sexual preference.") Usually in the evening, I will spend a half-hour or so browsing around the site...love the New Arrivals link!
  • I do spend solid blocks of time on AB sometimes, especially if there are loads of questions I want to answer. If I'm not working or studying I might spend say, an hour straight on here. If I've got an essay to write, then I seem to spend hours on here procrastinating! Mainly though, I just drift in and out of here throughout the day. Although if my work for that day doesn't involve using a computer, then that makes drifting much more difficult to do!
  • Certain blocks of time, on my off days only.
  • I spend all my time every day in the afternoon on answerbag, even if there's not anything good to answer. It's not a good habit, but I have way to much time to kill, and this is more intelectualy stimulating than reading or video games.
  • If i come here i read through the questions if i think i can be of help i stick around answer a very questions but i need to be in the mood to be here i can't just be here and not answer any thing and sometimes i will go days without coming over
  • I tend to drift in and out spending blocks of about 5-15 minutes at a time on answerbag. Mostly, I stop by here because I get a bunch of email notifications from AB.
  • I get on several times a week and spend several hours reading and answering different questions.
  • Two to three hours average, in other words, way too much!
  • Usually on and off throughout the day.
  • I use it like my body uses conciousness.
  • I drift in and out. I haven't even been on AB in a few weeks until just the last couple of days. Got busy with other things. but I rarely am on for more than a half hour to an hour when I am on.
  • I drift in and out. :)
  • I'm a drifter.
  • drift in and out
  • Drifter
  • I am on answerbag from the time I get to work to the time I leave. I switch screens when I have to make a reservation, but otherwise I am on for about 5-6 hrs~Mon-Fri. I find answerbag helps me to stay in a good mood when I have hundreds of people calling me each day and about 1/4 of them have no phone etiquette or are just dowrnight rude.
  • I keep the window open all the time, and open it when I feel like procrastinating.
