i am sorry that you have to be diagnosed with a disease for crying it seems that nothing is free anymore :(

they're not really authorized to forbid you returning unless a psychiatrist labels you as potentially dangerous.

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a problem. I'm also bipolar. Talk to your school counsellors and go see a doctor. It seems to me that kicking you out of school would make you even more unstable.

Ok let's put this is in perspective - did they ask why you were crying and was the upset anything to do with what happened at school that day or school generally. I can't say whether it is fair/unfair because I don't know all of the facts but it is near the end of term and they are maybe trying to give you a little more breathing space so that you can concentrate on being well for the next term. Schools have a duty of care to look after their students but sometimes school isn't the best place for you, perhaps in their judgement they would be failing you by keeping you in school for the next few weeks. However, how they arrive at the decision that you are unstable without any medical evidence but based only on what you have told them fails me. I think you should go back to your counsellor and tell them what happened see if they can help you straighten things out with the school. Good luck!
