  • Sounds like swim bladder problems, with any luck it's caused by a build up of air in the gut, try soaking dry food (Flakes or pellets) before feeding, or buy sachets of wet food (Bloodworm for example), or frozen wet food from your local aquatics center. Some fish enjoy peas, cucumber or lettuce, which may need to be sliced to allow the fish to take bites out of them. Fish appreciate variety in their diet, so it will be a treat for them all! Mollies are viviparous (Give birth to live young) if I'm not wrong, and will usually produce their young at night, I'm not sure how long birthing takes, but 10 to 30 mins sounds realistic to me.
