agoraphobia is just being afraid of open spaces, while social phobia includes other people. I can stand on an open square without problems, but if I'm told/forced to do something in front of a lot of people, or at a time where there's just the slightest chance that someone might be looking, i panic. I was removed from gymnastics in 9th grade because I was completely paralyzed and started crying whenever I was forced to join the football/hockey/basketball/handball field, and in the end it was ALL kind of excercises I couldn't do because of it. The we got a new teacher who relieved me of it after only 2 weeks.
