  • I believe that is a federal issue, and yes, the recording of others is a no-no but only for legal use. You could listen to it later for your own pleasure but I don't think you could use it in a court setting.
  • I know for a fact that is perfectly legal to record a conversation without the consent of both parties. I had to go into a detectives office to do this so it is most definatly legal and will hold up in court as long as your specific with the questions pertaining to the information you will use against them.
