When I was a kid, yeah. I used to wake up during a thunderstorm and hide in the bathroom, crying and wishing the storm would go away. But no so much anymore.
-
Don't worry about that. It's the demon thunder monsters you need to be afraid of.
-
No i uesd to be then i started to watch them now they dont bother me.
-
The thunder is upsetting if it is really close and loud, but it's the least of the trouble. Ligntening is the dangerous part of the storm because it can start fires and destroy property and people. That's why I'm more afraid of lightening than thunder. Destroyed my dial up modem a few years ago. I learned more about modems, installing them and 3.3 Dos systems than I really wanted to know installing a new one.

Yes. That's why I always keep a box of these handy;)
-
Not afraid . Actually a bit worried ! :)
-
They surprise me and make me jump but I don't find it badly scary, just intriguing, can't get enough of them scary:-)
-
I actually sleep better during a bad thunderstorm.
-
no i really like them and wait for the clap. sometimes i will sit out in them
-
Usually I find the loud thunderclaps energizing, exciting and invigorating...except for one time. The noise was so loud that it shook our apartment..more than once. Both Jim and I were awakened out of a sound sleep and were terrified. It quieted down after awhile, but neither of us could go back to sleep..it was that frightening! :)

I go outside on the front porch to watch the storm. I love the noise and heavy winds.
-
sometimes it may startle me, but I love a real good thunderstorm. I pour a little brandy, grab a cuban, and chill on the porch to watch and listen.
-
No, the louder the better :)
-
Not really. I'm more concerned about what the lightning can do than the noise of it, but tornadoes and hurricanes are a bit more worrisome. Thunderstorms hardly register on my fright-o-meter.
