Click on "my profile" in the upper right corner of this page. There you will see a section called "your avatar" where you can upload a picture from your hard drive, or click below that to choose a default avatar from AB.

I think these logos you are referring to are the avatars. In this case, you would just save an image that you want off of the internet (unless you already have one in mind on your computer). Go to "Profile & Activity --> Edit My Profile" From there, there will be an image of the Answerbag logo, and below it is a text-box, where you'll put in the file by "browsing" through and picking the file you wanted. The ".jpg" and ".gif" extensions work best, by the way. The avatars are automatically re-sized to 64x64 pixels so take that into consideration. After you pick it, hit the submit button at the bottom of the page. Oh, and welcome to AnswerBag! =]
