  • It is not a matter of being dismissed unless you were also arrested. If not you can fight any ticket, and use that as an excuse...They need to be accurate..
  • Not about the wrong county written on the ticket- was that officer an employee of the county that you actually did break the law in(if you did)? Example- you drive 25 mph in a 25 mph zone in the officer's county- then you drive 35 ina 25 zone in another county. The officer is not an employee of the county where you broke the law- the ticket is not valid. He can be a witness, but does not any more power than you do.
  • Sound like you may have encountered a State officer somewhere who has jurisdiction throughout the entire state and all couties throughout. this is A common mistake made by state officers and as long as the citation has been amended either before the court date or in the court of law in front of the judge the citation remains valid.
